I have participating in the Nunavut Tourism Summit in Iqaluit and I was so happy to be there during their Toonyk Tyme festival. I have been sending clients to Iqaluit to enjoy these festivities for years now and it was great to experience it first hand.
I will be listed under “African and Polar expeditions” and I will be presenting a fun seminar on “Traveling to the extremes, Arctic or/and Antarctica”, Saturday at 10:45 a.m. in the Seminar room in the Main Hall.
New York is a vibrant city with great hospitality. On my first day, I met with my polar and adventure travel partners and participated in a series of very informative seminars at the trade show.
Saturday, I participated in a full day at the Polar Film Fest at the Explorer Club. I was mesmerized by the Arctic Wolves of Ellesmere Island, Faroe Islands and the Sami culture documentaries. It was a full day of great cinema and camaraderie.
Then on my last day, I returned to the show with a good friend and amazing wildlife photographer, Ejaz Khan. I am thrilled to announce that Ejaz will be joining me to Siberia in August.
